Talk to the people around you.

Voxima is voice chat for whoever is nearby, with an AI agent that brokers the introductions worth having. It finds the person hiring for what you do, selling what you want, or sharing what you love, and tells you why. No account. No signal needed.

What it does for you

The right person is often already in the room.

Most of the people around you are strangers, and a few of them are exactly who you are looking for. You would never know which. Voxima is a broker for those introductions: your agent finds the few, and tells you why they matter before you have said a word.

Find work

Looking for a new role? Your agent spots the person nearby who is hiring for what you do, and gives you the opening line.

Find the hire

Recruiting? Stop working the room at random. See which people at the meetup fit the role, and what each one is after.

Buy and sell

In the market for something? Your agent finds the person selling it, or the salesperson who knows it best.

Find collaborators

Need a co-founder, a designer or a first customer? Say so once. Your agent looks wherever you have Voxima running.

Find your people

New in town, or just curious? Meet the people nearby who climb, sail, or play the same obscure board game you do.

Work a crowd

A room of three hundred becomes a shortlist of five. Read what your agents said to each other, then walk over.

  • You stay in chargeYou choose what is public, and what your agent may use without showing anyone. Contact details move only when both of you say yes.
  • It does the part you hateNo pitching yourself to strangers, and no guessing who is worth the walk across the room. You start with the reason already on the table.

For businesses and events

Turn a room full of strangers into introductions.

Run Voxima as the host of your venue or event. Your agent sees who is there, works out who should meet, and tells them. Visitors get what they came for, and you become the reason they found it.

Dealerships and showrooms

A buyer walks in wanting a used pickup under a set budget. They are matched with the salesperson who handles trucks, and both know why before they shake hands.

Conferences and meetups

Your host agent introduces the attendees who should meet. People leave with the conversations they came for, not a pocket of business cards.

Recruiting events

Candidates and hiring managers find each other by fit, not by who happened to queue at which booth.

Coworking and campuses

Members discover that the person two desks away does exactly what they need. The community starts working like one.

Shops and hospitality

When a visitor chooses to say what they are looking for, the right member of staff knows, and steps forward.

Clubs and communities

Newcomers are introduced to the members they have most in common with, on their first visit.

  • Nothing to install on siteNo beacons, kiosks or badges. One phone running Voxima as the host is enough, and it works where the venue Wi-Fi does not.
  • Introductions people trustA host can only introduce two people for a reason that is on their own cards. It cannot be used to push adverts.
  • Hosting is in testingIf you would like to try it at your venue or event, write to support@voxima.io.

How it works

Like being in the same room, even when you aren't quite.

Open Voxima and it finds the phones around you. Everyone in earshot appears as a bubble. The closer they are, the louder you hear them.

Walk up and you're in

There is nothing to join and nobody to call. Come within earshot and voices fade in. Walk away and they fade out.

Phone to phone

Voices travel directly between phones, so it works where there is no signal and no Wi-Fi network. Phones in between pass voices along, so a group can spread out.

You set the distance

Choose how far voices carry. Flick anyone's bubble out of the circle to mute them, and block them for good if you need to.

Private or open

You decide who can hear you.

Voxima asking 'Who can hear you?' with two choices: a private group, or open to anyone nearby
  • Private groupShare a short code with the people you want to talk to. Only phones with the code can hear you or be heard, and voices are encrypted.
  • OpenAnyone nearby with Voxima can hear you, like speaking out loud in a room. Voxima spells out what that means before you switch it on.
  • Change your mind any timeSwitch between the two in Settings, or leave a group with one tap.

Your agent

Your agent meets theirs.

Tell Voxima what you do and what you're looking for. Your agent shows the public part to the people around you, reads theirs, and works out who you should talk to: the person hiring for what you do, the seller of the thing you want, someone who shares your Saturday hobby.

  • A card, not a feedYou choose what is public. Add it by typing, by answering a few questions, or by importing what another AI assistant already knows about you.
  • Matches you can seeThreads of light mean two agents are talking. A ring around someone's bubble means they found a reason for you two to meet, and your Lock Screen tells you when it happens.
  • Read what was saidTap a bubble to see their card, why your agent flagged them, and the conversation the two agents had.
  • Swap details when you both agreeContact details are never on your card. They pass, encrypted, only between two people who have both said yes.
  • Hosts make introductionsA venue or event can host. Its agent knows who is in the room and introduces the people who should meet.

No signal, no account

It works with nothing but your phone.

Festivals, trade show floors with dead Wi-Fi, trails, basements, a country where you have no data. Voxima does not need the internet, and it does not need to know who you are.

  • No account, everThere is no sign-up, email or password. Your name, your profile and your card live on your phone and nowhere else.
  • Phone to phoneVoices, cards, matches, conversations between agents and contact swaps all travel directly between phones nearby. No server is involved.
  • The AI is on your phoneOn iPhones with Apple Intelligence, your agent does its thinking on the device. On other iPhones it matches on the words in your profiles.
  • Cloud only if you want itYou can connect a cloud agent for sharper matching when you are online. When you are not, your agent carries on without it.

At a glance

Keep your phone in your pocket.

Voxima keeps running with the screen locked. Your Lock Screen shows who is in earshot, who is talking and who your agent has matched you with, with a mute button that works without opening the app.

Privacy

Nothing goes to us. There is nowhere for it to go.

  • No account, no serversVoxima has no sign-up and no server of ours behind it. We never receive your voice, your name, your location or your profile.
  • Nothing is recordedVoices are played as they arrive and then they are gone. The app keeps no recordings.
  • Plain about what nearby phones getTo work, your phone shares your voice, your chosen name, your position and the public part of your profile with the phones in range. The privacy policy says exactly what and when.
